I join in their prayer, crying out in a loud voice,
In holy desire for vengeance against evil and longing for Christ to finally rule on earth,
“How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true,
Until You judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” [Revelation 6:10]
Then God, the creator and master of all the universe, descends from His throne.
To every martyr He gives a white robe, [Revelation 6:11]
A symbol of His gift of eternal righteousness to us.
And with soft words He comforts us.
He tells us to rest just a little while longer
While the number of us has not yet been fulfilled. [Revelation 6:11]
But surely after this will come judgment.
