The Valley of Slaughter
As it is declared by the lord
Judah’s people have done much evil
The church has been greatly defiled
and evil men worship idols
rather than Christ Jesus
Unholy sacrifices occur
that the lord did not command
their sins will lead them to their death
The dead will be buried
until their is no more room
The place of their remain
will be called the Valley of Slaughter
Carcasses of the people
will lie in the open
because no one will be left to bury them
Their flesh will be food for the birds of the air
and the beasts of the earth
No one will be left to frighten them away
The Lord will bring an end to all the peace and joy
and no one will be left in the land of Judah
Dark priests, prophets and kings
will be removed from their burial
Their bones will be exposed to the elements
which they so blindly worshipped
rather than worshipping the creator of all elements
The bones will never be buried, nor gathered up
but remain on the earth’s surface
This all because the people of Judah
prefer death and darkness rather than life and light.
