I saw four angels stationed at the four corners of the earth holding back its four winds so that no wind should blow on the land, sea or any tree.
But then I saw another angel rising from the east
Bearing the seal of the living God
To the four angels who had been given power to ravage land and sea he cried out with a loud cry,
"Do no damage to land or sea or to the trees until we have set the seal of our God upon the foreheads of His servants."
I looked and I saw a vast throng,
Which no one could count innumerable
From all races and tribes, nations and languages,
Standing before the throne and the precious Lamb of God.
Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne
And from Jesus the Lamb.
Blessing, glory and wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power and strength belong to our God.
"That is why they stand in front of God's throne and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will give them shelter. They will never again be hungry or thirsty. They will never be scorched by the heat of the sun. For the Lamb on the throne will be their shepherd. He will lead them to springs of living water."
Open the heavens Lord God and come down.
Touch the mountains so the bellow with smoke.
Hurl your lightning bolts and scatter your enemies.
Shoot your arrows and confuse them.
Reach down from heaven and rescue me from the deep water, from the power of the enemy.
